M Contemporary Art is pleased to present a two-person exhibition entitled 4|17 with new paintings by Malt and Freddy Diaz. Originally slated to open at the gallery, the exhibition is now an online exclusive on Artsy.net and will go live at 12 pm on Friday, April 17. The exhibition pairs Malt's recent work, which focuses on breaking down the image with shape and line, with Diaz's paintings that tie back to his Mexican heritage, not only in subject but in color theory. Both artists often work on large-scale wall murals and have known each other for almost a decade.
