ANACHRONISM

“My practice is an ongoing exploration of relationship dynamics and cultural identity, conveyed through an anachronistic visual language. I am deeply intrigued by written language and its social impact, particularly as it relates to my heritage - Black, Asian, and Native American. Through historical research and cultural studies, I’m constantly looking for the moments in history that bridge past and present.”

Drawing from this rich background, I use painting, sculpture, photography, and language - fusing traditional influences with contemporary mediums and technology - to create work that bridges past and present. My goal is to connect with the world around me while honoring the complexities of my cultural heritage.”
